Some people collect stamps. I collect stories — from cities, from people, from that one uncle at every wedding who thinks he's a comedian (spoiler: he usually is).
I grew up in India, studied business because I was told it was "practical" (they weren't wrong), and then moved to Toronto because apparently one country wasn't enough to contain my opinions. Now I'm back in Mumbai, working remotely and writing about everything that catches my eye — which, fair warning, is a lot.
By day, I'm a Customer Success specialist who helps enterprise clients navigate complex SaaS implementations. I speak fluent "stakeholder" and can translate tech jargon into human in under 30 seconds. By night (and weekends, and lunch breaks), I'm the person scribbling thoughts about why a particular street in Lisbon reminded me of home, or why we really need to talk about how history shapes our morning routines.
I started sammysideup because I needed a place where I didn't have to be "professional Samradhi." A place for the messy, curious, slightly chaotic version of me that has opinions about chai hierarchies and can't walk past a bookshop without going in. If you're the kind of person who reads the plaques on old buildings and Googles random historical facts at 2 AM — welcome. You're my people.
